Serving at a large, nationally renowned animal hospital for 20 yrs, I have had the good fortune of working with some of the best doctors in the field of veterinary medicine. I can say unequivocally that Dr Davila is the most gifted, dedicated and compassionate surgeon I’ve encountered. Over the ten years we worked together, in my position as a general practice doctor I have referred hundreds of patients to her with my personal enthusiastic endorsement. Grateful owners time and time again have regaled me with happy stories of the care they and their pet received during surgery/recovery with Dr Davila. I count myself as a thankful owner. She somehow surgically aligned an open, comminuted/ massively displaced femoral fracture on my own wayward kitty (a cat that unwisely tangled with a fox). Most surgeons would have recommended amputation. Not only did Dr Davila tackle this fracture in surgery successfully, she also personally oversaw his weekly splint changes and ensured he healed beautifully. Diana Davila is an exceptional veterinary surgeon who performed successful perineal hernia surgery on my miniature pinscher Biggie in 2023. From the initial consultation conversations to the surgery and post-operative care, Diana demonstrated a level of professionalism and expertise that exceeded my expectations. During the surgery, Diana worked to ensure that Biggie received the best treatment possible. She kept me informed throughout the surgery and provided me with regular updates on Biggie's progress. All went as expected without complication, even though the surgery was quite complex. After the surgery, Diana continued to provide excellent care to Biggie, monitoring his recovery. Her dedication to Biggie's well-being was truly remarkable, and I felt confident that he was in the best possible hands.Overall, I cannot recommend Diana Davila highly enough. Only hours after the surgery, he was walking, alert, and in good spirits. We can't thank Dr. Davila and Sarah enough for the expert and compassionate care they gave our sweet Lovey recently. Lovey had a massive tumor on her spleen that needed to be removed. Our veterinarian called Dr. Davila to schedule surgery and Dr. Davila made herself available the very next day. The surgery went smoothly and Lovey's recovery went amazingly well. She gets her stitches removed this week and is anxious to resume chasing her favorite tennis ball! If your precious pet needs surgery, you can feel confident that Dr. Davila will provide the best care possible.
